Says Arthur Magee;

"I was in Fallover 24. The group comprised:

Arthur Magee: guitar vocals
Stuart Ratcliffe: guitar, keyboard & vocals
Paul Dawson: bass, vocals
Vic Rea: drums

We formed in 1985, played our first gig at the Red Admiral in Hulme on December 8 of that year. We released an EP "The Pessimistic Man EP" on Ugly Man Records and we were produced for a time by Martin Hannett who originally worked on two of the songs on the EP but we never finished these with Martin for a number of reasons. The EP disappeared without trace which is a shame because Pessimistic Man was a fucking great pop song."
