Dislocation Dance
1983

Promotional shot of Dislocation Dance taken in 1983 by Manchester photographer Michael Pollard. The shoot was for the forthcoming album release 'Midnight Shift' for Rough Trade. Rarely was there enough money for a full colour sleeve with the independent record companies, so Michael shot most band sessions in black and white. However he would also shoot a roll or two of colour, though most of these have never been used. A colour image from this shoot did finally see print when Vinyl Japan released a BBC Sessions CD in the late Nineties.
Line-up
Kathryn Way : Vocals and Sax
Ian Runacres : Guitar and Vocals
Richard Harrison : Drums
Andy Diagram : Trumpet and Keyboards
Paul Emmerson : Bass
