From 'The Queen is Dead' tour. A complete riot from beginning to end. They came on to 'Montagues and Capulets' by Prokofiev, the drums kicked in for 'The Queen is Dead' and the place just erupted. Some of the crowd chanted 'Salford, Salford'. Morrissey chanted back 'Stretford, Stretford'. I think part of the stage collapsed at some point. By the end I was so soaked through with sweat I looked like I'd been under water. Probably the best gig I've ever been to.
