This screenprint was created for the soul reason that I was into the band and at Art College at the time. I sent Factory several copies purely out of interest and received a copy of "Closer" in return. The other copies of the print were given away to friends. I've kept this one.

“Thanks, Mat! Yes, it counted as part of the coursework. At that time, we were only doing 1 day-a-week on screenprinting, so the whole project was a bit sprawling, starting with planning, rough sketches, etc., through to making the separations that the screens were made from.
I still have the separated "film-positives", but the screens were destroyed after the run of 12.”
