“I was there: I was doing stand-up comedy at the time, and a friend and I were the warm-up acts for this show. I'd been a Buzzcocks fan since I was about 10 ("Ever Fallen In Love With...") so it was a massive thrill to find that Buzzcocks were on the bill. We hung out with them for a couple of hours afterwards, and Pete bought me a G&T. This photo is probably the nearest I'll ever come to having documentary evidence of the event.”
