Academy 3 (Hop & Grape)
8th May 1993

Taken from City Life magazine, 1993.

Creep was a minor hit on The Ritz Monday/Wednesday dance floor by the time Radiohead rolled up to the Hop and Grape (Academy 3) for their first headline gig at the Students Union building. This article is hardly flattering 'Radiohead don't half whinge a lot', but does recognise the band's potential with their great clutch of singles to date: Creep (92 release), Anyone Can Play Guitar & Pop is Dead).

Did you attend this gig? If so, we'd love to read your story in the comments box below.
