A rave review of the 'intensely exciting' Roland Kirk gig at the Tech Union on November 17th, 1966.

"The spectacle of him is visually unique, mouth choc-a-bloc full of instruments, lurching through a multi-textured chorus and playing his vibrantly happy, although sensitive music, communicates a good time for all."

Taken from the Manchester Independent Newspaper, written and edited by University of Manchester students. With thanks to James Peters at the University of Manchester Archives and Ben Ward at The University of Manchester Students' Union.
