As part of their 4th Anniversary Special, the cover of the April, 1989 issue of Spin magazine declared: "The Greatest Records of All Time". It also referred to various other top lists. Here, #12 on the left appears to compliment Johnny Marr's work on "How Soon Is Now?"; #3 on the right unoriginally refers to Ian Curtis and the American tour that never was.
