“Think this was the Primitives gig that I made it to. I won their album, the one with Crash on, in a City Life competition. I was working nights in a sausage factory (weren't the 80's great!) and phoned in at the crack of dawn. This was when City Life was still upstairs in poky offices on Portland Street on the edge of Chinatown.
