A complementary ticket for the band to give out.

Illustration from Stockport were promoting Stevo from Some Bizzares first release, Some Bizzare Album. It featured debuts from TheThe, Blamange, Soft Cell, Depeche Mode and B Movie amongst others and is considered a classic and collectable album now.
Illustration were track one, on side one with the song 'Tidal Flow'. The group disbanded before their second release, which was a single due on Some Bizzare. Around the same time 'Tainted Love' by Soft Cell, was released on the same label and went onto reach number one in the UK charts.

“Hi Graham. Yeah, I was too young for Pips but I remember a TV ad and regular Evening News ads. "Behind the Cathedral." Fennel St was it? Does that place it in what is now the Triangle?

See the membership card that's just gone up. I remember the groovy 70s font and the logo of the flared couple dancing.”
