“DIY punk flyer at its best!”

“I love these DIY jobs!

The Leighton Buzzards, of "Saturday Night Beneath the Plastic Palm Trees fame, turned into Modern Romance who had a string of criminal "party" hits in the 80's such as "Everybody Salsa" and Ayayayay Moosey! This caused Moz to say something like "there must be worse bands than Modern Romance but can anyone actually name one?" A quick google tells me that one former member went on to write "You Think You're a Man" for Divine.

A nice reminder at the bottom of Grass Roots bookshop, formerly on Newton St. Discount Records? Was that the place in the underground market (now Tesco's basement)?”

“I was at this gig although I don't remember too much about it, too much cider once again. Discount records was the one in the underground market with all the single covers pinned on the wall. It is discussed somewhere else on this archive.”
