An important moment in Strawberry's history - having faded into obscurity, Neil Sedaka arrived at Strawberry in 1972 and 1973 to record two albums, using the embryonic 10cc as his backing musicians and producers. The albums were 'Solitaire' and 'The Tra La Days Are Over' and they relaunched Sedaka's career as well as providing a big boost for Strawberry's reputation. An added bonus was that it also encouraged the four backing musicians to have a go at launching their own career....as 10cc! Thanks to Dave Jarvis for providing this picture (from the recent BBC4 documentary on Sedaka)
