Ticket
Piccadilly Records
10th March 1999

This is my ticket from a Looper instore at Piccadilly Records in 1999.

At the time Stuart David was the bass player in Belle and Sebastian although he later left to concentrate on Looper and writing novels. Stuart's spoken word vocals are on B&S songs, A Century of Elvis and A Space Boy Dream.

This performance was to promote their debut album Up A Tree on Jeepster. Stuart was joined in Looper by his wife Karn David and Ronnie Black. There was a good turn out for this, possibly a sell out. The sound was good but I couldn't see much from near the back. Afterwards I managed to get my copy of the LP signed. I think Up A Tree and the follow up The Geometrid (2000) still sound good today.
