Godley and Creme's unusual artistic endeavours on the Strawberry mixing desk. Such endeavours were not that surprising - the duo had both been art school students and one of their first major projects had been to design the paper models which were included with books connected with 'The Railway Children' and 'Cromwell'. They also designed the 1971 Hotlegs 'Thinks Schools Stinks' album cover and then, in 1981, released a book (called 'The Fun Starts Here') which contained surreal and satirical drawings depicting life in the world of pop music.
