Short Circuit ( Live at the Electric Circus ). This was a 10'' album with four tracks on each side. It was released by Vergin records to celerbrate the short but energetic life of the Electric Circus. All recordings were made in 1977, but I think the album was released in 1978. It features only a glimpse of the bands who prefomed at the Electric Circus and is by no means a comprehensive record of the venue. The Bands Included on the album are The Fall, John Cooper Clarke, Joy Division, The Drones, Steel Pulse and The Buzzcocks. Still a great album even to this day.

“The album was recorded over the two nights of the last weekend. As I recall, a double album was planned, but most of what was recorded was not good enough because of too much noise from the crowd. The tracks on the final album were all that could be salvaged. I worked there, so I got a free copy of the blue vinyl version, but it got nicked.”
