The Cheaters
1979

Guesstimating 1980.
Saw this band lots of times; on a good pub rocky/ Feelgood tip. Round the time of the Two Tone, mod and new R 'n B era; Nine Below Zero and the like. They always did Jimmy Reid covers, who is my all time favourite Blues arti st. "I'll Change My Style" still brings a tear to my ear.
On the flip side"Baby, What You Want Me To Do" by the aforementioned; ("Bright Lights, Big City" is another I recall them playing).
2nd track, "From the Hip" ;an original composition.
Right that'll do; starting to get white line fever. To be continued.....
