How can I describe The School? 60s influenced indiepop or a Welsh Camera Obscura? Perhaps, but that doesn't paint the full picture.

Imagine a world where Carole King or Ellie Greenwich had been born 40 years too late and The Locomotion was inspired by Ivor the Engine. It's the sound of the Ronettes singing Bacharach or the Shangri Las produced by Brian Wilson where the Wrecking Crew have been replaced by a bunch of cool indie kids. Hand claps, a glockenspiel and violins that will tug at your heart strings. Songs like I Don't Believe In Love and Is He Really Coming Home are easily as good as Be My Baby and Crying In The Rain. This is no 60s pastiche, this is the real thing.
