at that gig and spotlighted the pulping of one young man who had been making a nuisance of himself by spitting and throwing things at our lovely Pauline. Violence flared again during this set – mainly caused by skins proving to themselves that they really are the clones of theur heroes from 8 years ago.
Pauline worked really hard throughout the gig but personally I didn’t think it really came off (if you get what I mean). A lack of good songs and the fact that the PA turned her usually excellent recording voice into a shrill, peircing screach didn’t really help matters.
The (?) of the night was dont dictate unfortunately ruined by the management turning on all the lights. Presumably this was to look for a Roxy type youth. Penetration got called back for just one encore.
I think all things considered we’d had our moneys worth, but somehow, I don’t think I’ll see them next time round.

Psycopathic Society
I Wanna be free
Free from society
Free from the multi-storey buildings
Free from the bricks and cement
the tar and motors on wheels
Free from fashion, the clashing of words
Free from the DJ’s the news
and different views
the noise and the toys Free from the plug Sockets
Electricity
Free from society
the unreal pressures living it up in my mind
the depression congestion that doesn’t feel kind
Free from lonliness, homeless thoughts
Free from false love smiles and tears
Free from the clock, the counting of years
Free from the alarm that disturbs the sleep
Free from the same work week after week
Free from the claiming of time
“its mine its mine”.
Free from trying to please friends and aquaintances
free from trying and doing self maintainances
Free from looking for affection
only finding rejection
Free from critisising eyes
Free from want free from need
Free from nothing is here
Free from the (?) of another person
Free from learning loves lesson
Free from yearning
Freedom

There was a fight on a Sunday Night.
NO REPLY. To Buzzcer wallof sound,
Stoned on the balcony amazement stared around
Down on the sea of movement……
Motionless and moving, rythm generated melee
An arrow shot to the heart of the pulsebeat
Pumping bouncing people caught my eye,
Spilling backwards in knotted conflict.
The arena spread, and dancing stopped
In the circle that surrounded the battle,
And people watched
While hatred faced hatred. And malevolence.
Glared.
Then from the doors, moustachioed and bow-tied
Pushing innocents roughly from their path,
The Love Battery moved in…..
