There's a Spastics Charity Shop on GREAT WESTERN STREET, MOSS SIDE,near the junction with Lloyd Street. They usually have a fair selection of jackets,suits,shirts,e.t.c. and the occaisional pair of decent shoes .All at dirt-cheap prices.......e.g. a grey, double-breasted jacket, trousers, three shirts, and some leather shoes, all for £2.50,but sometimes they just have a load of crap,so don't be too disappointed.
PLACES TO GO?............THE POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS UNION,behind ALL SAINT'S PARK Saturday (and some Tuesdays) gigs,Wednesday Soul and Funk, Friday Disco
CYPRUS TAVERN, behind U.M.I.S.T. Disco with a certain atmosphere.Could be interpreted as a poseur's paradise, but it's all right if you're in the mood.
RUSSELL CLUB/FACTORY, 'Nuff said.
