This event at Urbis Museum Manchester (to co-incide with their punk exhibition) attracted about 150+ people. Goldblade's John Robb set the scene, asking each person (Pete Shelley, Howard Devoto & Richard Boon) about their background prior to the formation of Buzzcocks. Various artefacts, (i.e. a rather nice photo of Howard circa 1974), were projected onto a screen behind the panel of four.

The discussion continued with stories of early gigs, the making of Spiral Scratch up to when Howard left the band. We were treated to a snippet of very raw music, old set lists and other memorabilia.

Finally, punters asked questions varying from "when are Buzzcocks playing in Bolton?" to David Nolan (author of 'I Swear I Was There'), still trying to solve the mystery of real attendees at Manchester's Lesser Free Trade Hall.
