“Michael Pollard writes: This is a review of the band I was in at the time, The Cocktail Party, playing at the Millstone in Manchester. The review was by Paul Emmerson who was the bass player for another M/cr band at the time, Dislocation Dance. The review wasn't too complimentary!....but a couple of years later I found myself sharing a house with Paul Emmerson and we shared for over five years. I did remind him of his review! And in another twist of fate I ended up marrying Kathryn, the singer from Dislocation Dance!”
