Joanne Rosenthal
Thursday 13:30
Joanne Rosenthal is a freelance curator who works with museums and universities to produce exhibitions that deal with 'difficult' pasts and marginalised histories. She curated the award-winning Jews Money Myth exhibition in 2019 for the Jewish Museum London and in 2020-21 was Visiting Research Fellow at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Her current projects include an exhibition for Queen Mary University of London on the ‘Yemenite children affair’ (opening September 2022 at the Brunei Gallery) and an ongoing research project exploring the music and stage career of her aunt, Avril A, the self-styled ‘Housewife Superstar’.
