Raintree County, Yargo, Homelife
30th March 1988

Yargo at the glorious GMB building in the heart of Whalley Range. There was a real buzz around that night. Yargo were as magical as ever, Mick Hucknall was in the audience checking them out and the whole thing was captured on video by Michael Pollard.

“Yargo were a great band... one of the best live bands around. Bassist Paddy (Steer) and drummer Phil (Kirby) used to come out first and play, just the two of them for a few minutes - it was breath-taking. Live drum and bass, way before D&B became a genre! The rest of the band would come out and join in gradually. Superb.”
“that was on 'Love Revolution' wasn't it? Which they used to start with.”

“it was a great song.”
“Raintree County were local. Probably should link this to them also.”
