Tim Oliver (engineer, left) and Michael Pollard, August 1984. Having formed The Florists the year before with Lawrence Diagram (of the Diagram Bros.) and recorded a John Peel session, Michael Pollard left to record with Sue Prior under the name Missing Couple (found drowned). Under the guidance of Lindsay Reade at Factory they spent two weeks at Revolution in Cheadle on the graveyard shift, 8pm to 8am, recording an album for Fundacao Atlantica. With artwork prepared the album was shelved as the label hit financial problems.
