Ticket
Sad Cafe
16th January 1982

The gig was cancelled, can't remember why but I do remember one gig being cancelled because of snow and Ian Wilson's mum phoned my house in Oxford to let me know cos she was worried that my young friends and I would have had a wasted journey! The first time I saw Sad Cafe was 27th March 1980 at Oxford Apollo and the tickets were £2.50. I only went because a friend I worked with treated me...then she and I had a row at the gig, she stalked off home and I went backstage and met the band! The following day another friend suggested we get tickets for the gig at Bristol Colston Hall and I was hooked!
