Picture of Texan band King's X, who went on to become one of my favourite bands ever. I have plenty of pics from this gig but chose this one because it shows the largest area of the venue stage, even if the actual band are over exposed on it! I saw them here again at least once before the venue shut its doors for the last time. Years later I met someone else who was also at this gig. He remembered, rather unwisely, parking his car on one of the nearby streets, rather than paying to use the venue car park (remember that? it was first in - last out, they used to just cram the cars in!!) anyway, he go back to his car to find out someone had stolen the steering wheel from it! ha ha!
