Ticket
Bickershaw Festival
2nd May 1972

This ticket to the Bickershaw Festival was a free pass because I was working there with friends from On the 8th Day (whole food co-op and cafe) and the chef from the Roundhouse in London. 8th day took 'Joe's Caff' to a few festivals, including Lincoln and Bickershaw. We served endless cups of tea and coffee, bowls of muesli and brown rice and vegetables. It was very 'soup kitchen' and there was a chill out zone for people having bad trips. The Release drug charity tent was next door. The mud was legendary, but then so were the bands. We were very close to the stage area.
