The Russell Club on Royce Road also played host to Tony Wilson's Factory nights at weekends. In later life The Russell was taken over by a collective of bus drivers and renamed the PSV (Public Service Vehicle), but remained informally known as The Russell. This is the famous 'Factory 1' poster designed by Peter Saville, complete with spelling mistakes.
