These 'bumper bargain passes' were given out as tickets for a school friends 16th birthday party. I think it was Jane Williams (no relation). Most of the guests would have been 15 or 16 so the 20 plus age limit seems quite flexible. I remember it being a barn of a place with incredibly ornate carpets.

“There's a story that Rotters was named so because of the carpets you mentioned.

The club was previously "Romanoff's" and the new owners didn't want to replace the carpets, which had large "R"s on them.”
