This one-off night was called 'Raise the Roof' and was put on by Katherine Bird to raise money for The Young People’s Support Foundation.

I had a great time dancing to Danny's set, despite the fact that I'd been on my feet at work for 12 hours that day.

One of things I loved about Danny's sets around this time was the fact that he'd pull off some really edgy, musicianly mixes and play an adventurous set but would often, towards the end, drop in a classic pop 12", the intro of which he'd tease you with for a while. On this occasion it was 'Personal Jesus'. He played the Shep Pettibone mix of 'Bizarre Love Triangle' once at a Diablo's night at Deaf and the roof was raised indeed.
