I first saw Buzzcocks on the "Love Bites" tour of 1978. This was only my second gig at Portsmouth Guildhall, a venue I frequented during my youth. The Guildhall still had seats downstairs which weren't even secured so you can imagine the trouble that caused. I also remember Pete Shelley turning his back on the audience and threatening to walk off stage if the audience didn't stop spitting!
