Hardrock Concert Theatre
2nd March 1973

Sent in by Martin Lawrence:

"My youngest daughter lives in south Manchester and was telling me about her and her boyfriend going to Stretford B&Q the other day. I pointed out to her that many moons ago it was the 'Hardrock' and I went with a couple of my mates to see James Brown in 1973. All I can remember about the night was that it packed, hot, bizarre and a cracking night."

“Hi Martin - fantastic little piece of history there! Could we please use this image - and credit you - for an M.E.N piece on the Hardrock?”
