Original Artwork
The Beguiled
1985

One of the great things that contributed to The Beguiled’s Gothic Rock image was the fantastic artwork created by the band’s indifferent bassist Rob. Happily he was a talented artist who created the majority of the iconic posters and materials that were used to promote the band’s gigs and activities.

Inspired by the work of Frank Frazetta and the iconic artwork from the amazing 2000 AD comic series Rob worked diligently with his trusty Rotring ink pen to create some truly memorable images.

The fantastic Bat-Skull plaque. Various versions of this abound
but this is arguably the most sinuous and menacing
