“Very interesting! We didn't think they'd played Hurt after Wolverhampton in February 86, as it hasn't showed up on any of the recordings since then.

Buffalo venue likely to have been either the Darien Lakes Amusement Park (where they played in 87), Shea's or the Showplace Theatre.”
“Thanks jsz. Just added the listing (with appropriate credit) to new-order.net's gigography. I think the only way to track this down is to (1) find someone who went or (2) comb through microfiche or online archives of newspaper articles around the time.”
“This show definitely took place at Shea's Performing Arts Center in downtown Buffalo, NY. I know because I was there. I sat (stood, really) in the second row of the grand old theater. That may sound great, but we were so far left that we had an obscured view of the stage due to the speakers in front of us. Consequently, it was the loudest show I've ever been to. I remember I was really concerned about permanent hearing damage. Excruciating, but good nonetheless. I recently attended a wedding reception that took place on the actual Shea's stage and we joked that we were sitting in the exact same spot that New Order played years before. www.sheas.org/
