Exterior of The Longfield Suite, Prestwich, North Manchester. The venue was built in 1970 and is owned by Bury Council who use it for a range of community events including keep fit, toddler groups and pro wrestling. As far as music is concerned it is currently heavily used by tribute bands who play the Longfield Live night, often supported by young unsigned bands. A number of other more established bands have played there in recent years including The Blockheads, The Boomtown Rats and Toploader.
