A lot of people remember this set from Stoke-born Balearic prince DJ Kelvin Andrews at Electric Chair, 2006. There is a link to Part 2 of his set that night below.

Kelvin says:

"This incidentally is part 2 . Part 1 was always missing. If I remember, it included Zazu, Fats Comet, Edwin Starr and more slower/Cosmic and mid tempo jams. I played Tears Of A Clown as my last record and Justin Una followed it with Reach Out."

It's rare to see Kelvin without his hat on.

Kelvin Andrews biog:

A DJ since the beginning of time (1982!). A producer since 1992. Resident at Golden 92-96, The Bomb 96-2000, guest at seminal club nights Back To Basics, Slam, Venus, Heavenly Social and all over the world ever since.

Remixed with super talented brother Danny Mekanik as Sure Is Pure/Soul Mekanik the likes of Aretha Franklin (Rock Steady), The Doobie Brothers (Long Train Running), Sister Sledge (We Are Family/ Lost In Music), Sly & The Family Stone (Family Affair), Marvin Gaye (Got To Give It Up), Blue Boy (Remember Me), Frankie Goes To Hollywood (Welcome To The Pleasuredome),T-Coy (Carino), Mary J. Blige (Reminisce) and dozens more.

Producer of over 100 house records and famous for playing for 8hrs and more from chilled sunsets & balearic to underground disco and heads down spaced-out deep house. Label boss (Gem/Pharm/Creative Use/WoNk/ReVno) and all-round musical gentleman.
