An unforgettable gig and my vote for the best gig there.

Most would remember this for 'You Made Me Realise'. On record it has a 30sec white noise/guitar terrorist breakdown before crashing back in for the finale, live this had developed into something a little longer and, by this point, they were keeping this part going for a full 17mins!

Unless you were there you can't really imagine how strange this is to hear/witness.

“I'd like to have seen that. I caught them a year later at the Apollo on the "Rollercoaster" package tour with Jesus and Mary Chain, Blur and Dinosaur Jr. What a line up! I remember Damon was climbing all over the very high speaker stacks and I'm thinking "who's this upstart?"”
