Artefact

Flyer
Kath McDermott
UMIST (Barnes Wallis Building)
1997

Candy Darling- The flyer reads "Grab your fifteen minutes of fame" & "Putting Pop Art back into Gay Clubbing"
Manchester's Music & Club scene in the 80's & 90's seems to have been greatly influenced by Andy Warhol.
Factory Records/Paradise Factory, Flesh at The Hacienda, Joe Dallesandro on The Smiths' album cover, Electric Chair.
Here's another nod to Warhol & his one time Superstar.
I guessed the date of the flyer (mid/late 90's).
