Flyer
The Drones, Slaughter and the Dogs
The Electric Circus
1977

a great flyer... this shows the last weekend of the EC. See Kevin Cummin's story about the Pat Seed Scanner appeal elsewhere on this site. notice there seems to be two S&TD/Drones gigs, swapped around.

also, an early performance from screwdriver- this would have been before their nazi, national front days... i heard somewhere that mark radcliffe was in them before they lost the plot... is that true?

“This is 1977 and yes Radcliffe played drums for Skrewdriver VERY briefly when they were just an average knock about punk band.”

“Radio Stars played to a near empty house with Andy Ellison sitting in the audience at one point to swell the numbers. It was Alternative TV who played on Saturday 17th instead of Ultravox. The Drones and Slaughter And The Dogs played a joint-headlining tour, which is why it shows the bands both ways round. The Slits played the same night that Iggy Pop was filmed for So It Goes at the Apollo.”

“According to my diary Skrewdriver actually played their first gig in Manchester at the Poly supporting Little Bob Story on 12/02/77. As I recall they were an enthusiastic but unremarkable little band.”
