“i saw pete live at the failsworth cycling club many years ago,he could certainly play!he told me that he was in hermans hermits at one time,he is credited with a song on one of the later albums.he asked me who my favourite guitarist was,i said hendrix,when he came back for his encore,he played purple haze at great volume and walked off stage to the bar,leaving his guitar feeding back against the speakers!sad to hear he died a while back,he was a nice bloke.”
