Darren Adcock
The Hare And Hounds
10th October 2006

Another time we put on 7 HERTZ from Leeds. This time it was in the upstairs room at The Hare & Hounds on Shudehill, not a place I've seen many gigs (thus I've just had to add it).

DARREN ADCOCK did a set I think purely on the musical saw. I'd seen him play a couple of times before doing open-tuned folk stuff. He now does pretty incredible artwork which has recently been exhibited in Castlefield gallery. He's also played in several noisier projects that I've missed seeing too.

I have photos from this gig including yours truly playing JRM covers downstairs.

Flyer design (genuine rub-on letraset again) by Anthony.

“Intriguing! I think I've only seen the saw being played once. Great flyer.”
