Barry Adamson
1989

Sleeve of 1989 Mute Records album by Moss Side-born Barry Adamson (Magazine, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, etc).

The album is in 3 acts and is "the soundtrack to an imaginary movie."

Nice photo on the inner sleeve (Lawrence Watson) of a local church plastered in PSV and International2 posters for reggae gigs - Sugar Minott, Burning Spear and a night called Road Block Sessions.

“great lp- any chance of a scan of the ineer sleeve please?”
“I like to describe this as "The world's only Industrial Swamp Jazz album", and it's one of the greatest records ever made.

I wonder why no one ever made a film to accompany this fantastic ersatz soundtrack?”
“Don't think I've played this since I bought it - will give it a spin now. Fascinating that you're so in to this all the way from the States!

Yes mat - will post the inner sleeve up.”
