I know that 10cc have not been terribly well remembered since their 70s heyday, but they are one of my favourite bands and unfairly overlooked imo as either representative of 70s rock or Manchester.
I didn't really get into them until about 1980, but I admire them for their great songs (very witty and satirical lyrics), great singing and imaginative arrangements and production. I think How Dare You and Sheet Music are very strong albums too.
So as far as I am concerned this retrospective is not before time and I will try to get to see it in the next year.
