This is a rarity. Triumph were a Canadian band who not long after broke out big in the US. They only did 3 dates, I think, on this tour plus a festival, and never returned to the UK. I'd never heard of them, but went along to see one of the support bands, Dedringer, who were from my home city Leeds. Also supporting were Praying Mantis. Triumph were a bit too flashy for the time, with punk still around and the raw New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands breaking through, so didn't really suit the times. I thought their songs were brilliant though and they went on to become one of my favourite bands. A happy accident and very lucky to see them live.
