The first lesbian and gay national youth radio series was recorded in BBC (Oxford Road) by OutSpoken Productions (Manchester bass Indy: Mark Ovenden & Chris Kelly). It ran for just one series (and one special) on BBC Radio 1, and helped get the network to start covering the national Pride events in London.
