A preview of Mountaineers' EP launch gig/debut performance as a Northern Ambition band in December 2004. Superb support included Omerta (later Slow Readers Club), Tricky Nixon (later The Joy Formidable) and the criminally overlooked Nathan Burton and The Beans. What Richard Smirke meant by "plenty of ambition to be found here, if nothing else" remains an enduring mystery.
