Robot, White Cube
The Star And Garter
1999

First time I saw White Cube and experienced the mystic ramblings of Lord Mongo. A crazy day at the Star and Garter. It was the Digital Discharge festival. Also notable in the fact that it was the first time I ever met the omnipresent 'Gary' who would become etched in my mind as the creator of that Bess Kelloid CDR - the cover was more disturbing than the music (and that is saying something).

Weirdness x 10.

“lord mongo lives around the corner from me in old trafford- his bedroom light is on every night well into the early hours. somehow i find it sinister!”
“Ha ha ha . He's probably watching Quatermass on UK Gold or constructing cardboard and hessian performance-wear.”
