Suite Sixteen Recording Studios
1994

Advert from Northwich based Salty Dog fanzine.

Picked this up 13/8/94 at a gig by indie hopefuls Thrush Puppies and Flatback 4 at the Shack in Oldham. Followed by a car drive into town with John Robb and Clint Boon ( I think so? - he was at the earlier gig) to catch a Sub Pop band at the Roadhouse, possibly Eric's Trip??

“i was at that gig at the Shack . . . i also remember a band called 'Seed' recording at Suite 16 around this time for Imaginary Records. They released a series of tribute albums with different artists doing songs from 1968 etc. The label was run by Alan Duffy who also managed 'Seed' for a short time. I know they recorded 'Mrs Robinson' for the '68 album and 'Last Train To Clarksville' for The Monkees album. They were also to record 'I Can See For Miles' for The Who album but it all went pear-shaped!”
