Advert
Steven Taylor
Library Theatre
5th June 1979

Advert from New Manchester Review. Allen Ginsberg & Anne Waldman reading at Library Theatre Tuesday 5th June 1979. Also reading was Peter Orlovsky and Steven Taylor on guitar. Taylor was form Gorton, Manchester. His family emigrated to the USA when he was 10. He was Ginsberg's guitarist and musical advisor for 21 years. Taylor joined US punk band False Prophets and playedThe Swinging Sporran, Manchester, with them in May 1989.

The photo of False Prophets on Andrew Bayles excellent webpage is labeled as The Boardwalk. But Steven Taylor confirmed with me that it was actually The Swinging Sporran. Andrew thinks he mis-remembered the Venue when he labelled the photos.
