New Order
25th September 1981

FAC 53, 7 inch of ‘Procession’ by New Order. One of my favourite songs ever by one of my favourite bands.

I imagine them in the studio, each taking a try at singing. Then finally Bernard steps up to the mic, probably last, and sings a song about his friend who is no longer here and he doesn’t understand why. He’s seen it dark but never as dark as this.
